Radeon RX 9070 XT’s cheapest US stock is $870, 45% above its $599 MSRP

The cheapest in-stock Radeon RX 9070 XT at US shops is $870, up from a $720 daily median on August 19. Newegg lists it at $900 and Amazon at $940, against a $599 launch MSRP.

The cheapest Radeon RX 9070 XT in stock at a tracked US shop on October 10 was an XFX Swift White at Best Buy for $870. That is 45 percent above the card’s $599 launch MSRP and about $150 above its $720 daily median on August 19, the first day in this data. All figures are US new retail, tax excluded, rounded to the dollar, from captures through October 10.

Three shops had the RX 9070 XT in stock, from $870 to $940

Newegg listed an ASRock Monster Hunter Wilds Edition at $900 and Amazon an XFX Swift Triple Fan at $940. B&H Photo priced an ASUS Prime OC White at $1,100 on October 7 and 8 and has not shown it in stock since. Those two B&H captures matter more than they look: the October 7 daily median of $1,000 rests on exactly two captures, Newegg at $900 and B&H at $1,100, so it says more about which shops were in stock that day than about the market.

The tracker’s 14-day change is +8.8 percent and its 30-day change +14.9 percent, against a 90-day median of $790 across 91 captures from five sources. The daily medians rose in steps rather than along a slope. They ran $720 to $745 from August 19 to September 3, $750 to $800 from September 5 to 21, $820 to $845 from September 22 to October 6, and $900 to $1,000 since October 7. Several of those days rest on one to four captures, and October 9 is a single one, so the exact level on any one day carries a wide margin.

The RX 9070 rose 7.7% over 14 days, while no RTX 50 card below the 5090 moved more than 5.0%

Card Launch MSRP 90-day median Latest capture 14-day change 30-day change
RX 9070 $549 $650 $742 +7.7% 0.0%
RX 9070 XT $599 $790 $900 +8.8% +14.9%
RTX 5070 $549 $840 $840 +1.5% +4.7%
RTX 5070 Ti $749 $1,150 $1,190 0.0% +1.7%
RTX 5080 $999 $1,600 $1,600 +5.0% +1.0%

The RX 9070’s $742 on October 10 is a single Amazon capture, and the three days before it were single captures at $700, so its 14-day figure is provisional. The RTX 5080 shows +5.0 percent over 14 days, but its daily medians swing between $1,600 and $1,740 in that stretch and its latest capture, $1,600 at Best Buy, equals the 90-day median. The RTX 5070 Ti is the flat one, level over 14 days with the latest capture $40 above its median.
