ASUS describes its 720Hz Swift OLED PG259QWS Ace as the fastest OLED monitor ever

A compact esports monitor with thin bezels on a stage desk in a darkened esports arena, with keyboard and mouse.

ASUS says the Swift OLED PG259QWS Ace runs a 1920 x 1080 panel at 720Hz over DisplayPort 2.1, with a 540Hz Strix on the same panel. It gives no price or ship date.

What an SSD Warranty Actually Refunds in a Shortage

Amber chart drawn to scale: a 4TB portable SSD's street price climbing from its $199.99 invoice to the above-$500 listing reported in August 2026, with a dashed reference line on the same scale at the $199.99 the warranty refund pays and a bracket marking the gap between them. Headline reads SSD warranty refunds, $200 back, $500+ to replace.

A failed drive is now settled by a clause most buyers never read, YMTC wants the NAND crown by 2027, and Samsung's new Odyssey OLEDs change subpixels rather than headline numbers.

A Thermal Cutoff in the 12V-2×6 Cable, a 1,000 Hz Panel, and B450’s Return

Twelve connector cells in two rows of six, the exact 12V-2x6 power-pin count, with one overheating pin in red and its neighbours in amber.

Corsair puts a thermal switch inside the 12V-2x6 cable, LG's 1,000 Hz UltraGear needs a DisplayPort 2.1 card before anything else, and Gigabyte quietly lists new B450 boards for DDR4 holdouts.
