According to Razer, its new Huntsman V3 Pro Mini 8KHz posts 26% lower latency than the nearest rival 60% keyboard it tested, the headline figure behind a launch that also brings true 8000Hz polling and the full Advanced Input Control suite to Razer's smallest board for the first time. The announcement names no price and no release date.
What's new

The Huntsman V3 Pro Mini 8KHz keeps the Gen-2 analog optical switches, 0.1-4.0mm adjustable actuation and Rapid Trigger already on the existing Mini, and adds two things Razer previously reserved for its larger boards: HyperPolling at a true 8000Hz, eight times the 1000Hz industry-standard rate, and the complete Advanced Input Control suite (Snap Flex, Snap Tap, Dynamic Keystroke, Dual-Keypress Priority). Razer calls it the most advanced analog optical keyboard it has built in a 60% form factor.
The numbers behind the claim
Razer says its own testing put the new board at 0.48ms average latency against 0.65ms for "the nearest competing keyboard tested," a 26% gap, with both devices set to 0.1mm actuation at their maximum polling rate. Razer also claims roughly 2.5x better actuation-point accuracy than the keyboards it benchmarked, hitting a measured 0.1mm actuation point across 20 repeated tests per device. Razer did not name the competing keyboards in either comparison, and neither figure is independently verified.
A 60% layout with onboard profiles
The 60% layout drops the number pad and function row to leave more desk space for mouse movement, with the modifier keys doubling as a 4-way arrow cluster when tapped. The case is 5052 aluminum alloy with double-shot PBT keycaps, and up to six actuation and Rapid Trigger profiles store onboard, so a player can carry tournament settings on the keyboard itself without installing Synapse; Synapse Web handles on-the-fly adjustments and RGB control from a browser instead.
What Razer left out
The release gives no price and no release date, so it is not yet clear what 8000Hz polling and the full input-control suite will cost on a 60% board, or when buyers can get one. Razer also has not said whether the standard, non-8KHz Huntsman V3 Pro Mini continues alongside it or gets phased out.
