Why It Mattered
GeForce2 Ultra was NVIDIA's flagship GeForce2 desktop card and a strong late DirectX 7-era performance marker. It is one of the more desirable GeForce2 variants.
Collector Notes
Prioritize clear Ultra branding, original cooler, memory-chip markings, retail box, and board-partner identity. Many Ultra cards used active cooling that should be inspected carefully.
Common Failure Points
Fan wear, dried thermal material, and memory artifacts are common age-related risks. Mislabeling as ordinary GeForce2 can also happen in loose-card listings.
